Actress Ramya Pandian who won hearts with her stunning acting in 'Joker' and 'Aan Devathai' gained huge popularity after posting her traditional but glamorous photos in saree on social media.  She then became a household name after participating in 'Bigg Boss 4' hosted by Kamal Haasan in which she had a long stay of over 100 days before getting evicted.

Ramya is the niece of veteran actor-producer Arun Pandian whose daughter Keerthi Pandian also is an actress who received critical acclaim in the recently released survival thriller 'Anbirkiniyaal'.

News started doing the rounds that  Ramya Pandian's younger brother Parasu Pandian has been approached to play the lead in a new movie.  However, it has been clarified that no such offer was made to Parasu.

Ramya Pandian meanwhile is acting in a new movie produced by Suriya which also has Vani Bhojan in an important role.  She has also signed a couple more films which details are awaited.
