Rio Raj gained significant support from viewers during his recent stint on 'Bigg Boss 4' hosted by Kamal Haasan which helped him to stay the full 106 days on the show. He also came up the second runner up after Aari who won the title and Balaji Murugadoss the runner up.

Rio who made his big screen debut in 'Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja' produced by Sivakarthikeyan is currently awaiting the release of his next film 'Plan Panni Pannanum' directed by Badri Venkatesh.

On Valentine's Day Rio Raj posted a video from 'Plan Panni Pannanum' in which he is narrating to Robo Shankar that his girlfriend in the film played by Ramya Nambesan fell at his feet and requested him to love her but he rejected her due to his duty first policy. Probably the scene is a figment of the imagination of the hero in the story and he is just bragging to his innocent friend.
