Actress Ramya Krishnan has shared the latest photo of herself with her son and husband. The family celebrated the new year together with other extended family members and close friends.

Ramya Krishnan married famous Telugu director Krishna Vamsi in 2003 and the couple have a son named Ritwik who is now 17 years old. Tollywood media has reported that the youngster is keen to join the film industry in the future after his studies.

Ramya Krishnan who turned 51 recently made her acting debut as heroine in 'Vellai Manasu' opposite Y.Gee Mahendra when she was only a teenager. She then played an important role in the Sivaji Ganesan - Rajinikanth blockbuster hit movie 'Padikathavan'. Since then though she has acted in only a few films in Tamil like 'Jallikattu', 'Mudhal Vasantham', 'Paer Sollum Pillai' and 'Vaname Ellai', she became a top leading lady in Telugu and acted in several films.

It was 'Padayappa' with superstar Rajini that helped her make her comeback in Tamil in the powerful role of Neelambari. She followed it up with Kamal Haasan's 'Panchathanthiram' in a villainous role and there has been no looking back since then.

Recently ofcourse Ramya towered as Rajamatha Sivakami in 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2' and played a role based on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha in 'Queen' web series directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
