Raiza Wilson made her Tamil film debut in Dhanush-Amala Paul's 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2' directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth but she attained wider fame after her participation as a contestant in the 'Bigg Boss Tamil season one hosted by Kamal Haasan. She is one of the few female contestants who had a successful film debut through 'Pyaar Prema Kadhal' produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and costarring Bigg Boss housemate Harish Kalyan.

Raiza was recently involved in a controversy after she posted a photo of her badly bruised and swollen face and accused a dermatologist of causing it and demanded rupees on crore compensation. However, the doctor claimed that contrary to the actress stated that the particular treatment was forced on her it was done with proper procedures and that the side effects will settle down in time. The doctor then sent a legal notice to her demanding rupees five crores for defamation.

Recently Raiza posted a photo in which she was back to normal and revealed that she took corrective treatment at a different hospital and is cured. After the controversial episode, the pretty actress from Bengaluru posted a photo of herself wearing an open-front jean jacket and short skirt that has stunned netizens.

On the professional front, Raiza's upcoming films include 'FIR', 'Alice', 'Hashtag Kadhal' and 'Kadhalikka Yaarumilaiye'.
