The other day, the body of a Bangladeshi actress was found in a sack on the roadside in Dhaka. Her name is Raima Islam Shimu, who has done more than 25 films and several TV serials. Soon after the 45-year-old woman's body was bound, it was then sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue in Dhaka for an autopsy.

The news is that, on Wednesday, reports are emerging that the dead actress' husband has told the police during an investigation that his involvement in her murder was there. Shakhawat Ali Nobel is his name. Not only a friend of the husband but also an "influential Bangladeshi actor" is also suspected to be involved in murdering Raima.

Meanwhile, the Bangladeshi film industry fraternity has expressed their shock on social media. The news has been widely reported in the Indian media because of how much of a sensation it has become in the neighbouring country. The film industry in Bangladesh is not a cash-rich one despite the economy of the country having been in a good shape.
