'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' fame actress Rachitha Mahalakshmi has lodged a shocking police complaint against her estranged husband Dinesh Gopalswamy at midnight causing huge sensation.

Rachitha who hails from Bengaluru made her television debut in the serial 'Pirivom Sandippom' which was aired on Vijay TV in 2011. She not only gained a huge fan following but also fell in love with her costar Dinesh Gopalswamy. The couple got married in 2013 and have no children. Following misunderstandings Rachitha and Dinesh have now separated and the actress confirmed the same on 'Bigg Boss Tamil 6.

Dinesh in various interviews has expressed hope that time will solve the problems with his wife and they will be reunited soon. On the other hand Rachitha on the reality show was suggestive of staying single and adopt a child.

At this juncture at around midnight on June 21st, Rachitha went to the Mangadu police station in Chennai and filed a complaint that Dinesh is sending obscene messages to her cellphone and is making harmful threats. The police have started investigations.

Meanwhile famous dubbing artiste GG a close friend of Rachitha has also allegedly lodged a complaint against Dinesh for defaming her in media interviews claiming that Rachitha split from him due to her ill advice.
