Actress Rachitha Mahalakshmi is one of the most popular television stars in Kollywood as well as Sandalwood. She made her debut in the serial 'Pirivom Santhippom' in 2011 and has since played lead roles in many favorite soaps including 'Ilavarasi', 'Saravanan Meenatchi Season 2', 'Saravanan Meenatchi Season 3', 'Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar Season 2', 'Amman Season one and two' and 'Sembaruthi'. She is currently the leading lady of the serial 'Idhu Solla Marandha Kadhai' and the Kannada film 'Ranganayaka'.

Rachitha who hails from Bengaluru fell in love with actor Dinesh from Srivilliputhur who costarred with her in her first serial. The couple got married in 2015 and were leading a happy life for a few years but misunderstandings cropped up and they are now separated.

In an exclusive interview with us Dinesh has opened up that he and his wife are indeed separated but have not gone for any legal proceedings yet. He said that they are taking time to assess each others lives and good things may happen if they have to.

Dinesh has praised Rachitha for her passion and dedication towards acting and said that nothing can come in her way when she is doing her job. He added that she is now fully focussed on her career and is moving towards her goals and dreams and conceded that he may not have been able to keep pace with her.
