As the COVID-19 immunization push progresses slowly, an increasing number of persons over the age of 18 are receiving their first dose of vaccine. Some of the film industry's biggest names are also getting vaccinated and share the photos and videos to inspire their fans to do the same.

Actress Raai Laxmi is the latest Kollywood star to get vaccinated and she has posted a video in which she is seen wearing a stunning green dress with her face tight with stressed out anticipation as the medical professional proceeds to jab her. She then repeatedly tries to avoid the injection and only after calming herself down a few times she gets the job done.

Raai Laxmi has written, "I really have trypanophobia!!! getting injected is a big deal for me but I did it yay…. (Don’t laugh)". Since the word is not in regular use fans had to google to find its true meaning. Here it is, Trypanophobia is described as a strong aversion to medical treatments that include injections or needles.

The 'Mankatha' fame actress's next movie in Tamil is 'Cinderella' costarring Sakshi Agarwal and Robo Shankar.
