Ever since Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's passing away, yesteryear actress Gautami has been vocal, raising pointing questions about the "suspicious circumstances" of Amma's death. In December, she had written a rational-emotional letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that there were several unanswered questions surrounding Jaya's demise.

Earlier this week, she turned critical of Modi for "ignoring" the concerns of the Tamil people. In another open letter to the PM a few days ago, she wondered if the Centre's accountability doesn't extend to Tamil Nadu.

Latest, Gautami has said that, when Modi acknowledges the tweets of ordinary people, why not give mind to the questions raised by so many people? 'Hon PM @narendramodi does respond to citizens tweets addressed to him then why not #JusticeForAmma ?? #JusticeForTN not IMPORTANT Enough?" she has questioned on Twitter.
