Priya Bhavani Shankar who started her career as a news presenter has since moved on to the big screen and is playing the lead heroine in several films including S.J. Suryah's 'Bommai', Atharvaa's 'Kuruthi Aattam', Dulquer Salman's 'Vaan', Venkat Prabhu's 'Kasatathapara' and to top it all as the pair of the Kamal Haasan in 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar.

On the personal front Priya Bhavani Shankar is in a steady relationship for several years with Rajavel and in her latest post she has trolled her man in Padayappa style. In the pic Rajavel is wearing coolers and Priya has written in Tamil "This is my groom but the glass he is wearing is mine". In 'Padayappa' Rajini would say the same to Senthil who would have borrowed his dress in the film and the superstar would be saying "He is the groom but the dress he is wearing is mine" to everyone he sees on the road.

In an earlier post Priya had gotten all emotional wishing Rajavel on his birthday writing "I wasn’t surprised when you fell in love with the happiest, confident, less attractive, so-called average looking ‘me’ from college a decade ago. But I am surprised you chose to stay with this ‘new me’ through everything.
