Chennai girl Priya Bhavani Shankar who started her career as a news anchor and later television actress is now the busiest film actress in Kollywood. She is much loved by fans for her fluency in Tamil and for always carrying herself with a positive attitude.

Priya has been signing a number of new films recently that include Jayam Ravi's next directed by Kalyan and Vishal's new movie as well. Now the latest buzz is that she has joined the cast of Vadivelu's comeback film.

According to sources Priya is on board to play a pivotal character in the as yet untitled film directed by Suraaj and produced by Lyca Productions. She is not pairing with the veteran comedy but will have many scenes with him according to sources. Stay tuned for the official word on this one.
