Young heroine Pranitha Subash who has acted in a few Tamil films, including Karthi's 'Saguni' and Suriya's 'Masss Engira Masilamani' met with a severe accident as she was returning to Hyderabad in her car, after attending a function at Kammam in Telangana state.

Pranitha who is a top actress in Telugu and Kannada language films was travelling along with her mother and a couple of aides in the car which suffered the accident. The mishap occurred when the driver made a cut to avoid colliding with the bike that was going in front of the car on a highway. This lead the car to fall down in a pit at a depth of 10 feet, on one of the sideways of the road. All the passengers escaped with injuries and were taken to a near by private hospital through an ambulance. After administering First Aid, they were taken to a hospital in Hyderabad where they have been admitted and undergoing treatment for the injuries.
