Actress Pia Bajpaiee who made her acting debut in Tamil in 'Poi Solla Porom' directed by A.L. Vijay and went on to star in many hit movies such as Thala Ajith's 'Aegan', Venkat Prabhu's 'Goa' and the late K.V. Anand's blockbuster hit 'Ko' starring Jiiva'. She was most recently seen in the bilingual 'Abhiyum Anuvum' opposite Tovino Thomas.

Piya Bajpaiee's brother apparently infected by the COVID 19 was in a very serious condition and the actress asked for help on social media earlier today writing "I need urgent help in district Farukhabad , kayamganj block .UP.. a bed wd ventilator ..my brother is dying ..any lead plz help. Plz Contact if u know anybody -9415191852 Abhishek.. we are already in mess".

Pia after a couple of hours broke the sad news that her brother who is in his early thirties is no more. The tragic news has shocked fans and has also indicated how grim the second wave of coronavirus is plucking the lives indiscriminately.
