Pavni Reddy, who has acted in serials like 'Rettaivaal Kuruvi' and 'Chinnathambi' on VijayTV, gained fame as a contestant in the 5th season of 'Bigg Boss Tamil' hosted by Kamal Haasan. Dance choreographer Aamir, who also participated as a contestant with her in that season, fell in love with Pavni in the house and proposed to her but she did not accept him.

Subsequently, Amir and Pavni performed as a couple in the 'Bigg Boss Jodi' dance show. Pavni also started falling in love with Amir and the duo got close at that time. Later on the show itself which they won they officially announced their relationship.

Amir and Pavni acted as a lovers in the recently released Ajith starrer 'Thunivu' directed by H. Vinoth. But their fans were disappointed as they did not have much screen time and their characters were also killed off quickly.

Currently, Amir and Pavni are living together in their house in Chennai and fans are constantly pestering them about when they will get married. In a recent Instagram interacton a fan wrote "Sister you and Amir bro are married but why you are not making it official yet". Pavni in lighter vein replied "Hmm... so you guys confirmed that I got pregnant last month and later they told we broke up , and now we secretly married. WHAT NEXT" along with laughing emojis.
