Model turned actress Pavani Reddy debuted in Bollywood in the movie 'Login' in 2012 and thereafter acted in a few Telugu and Tamil movies. She became famous after starring in the Tamil serial 'Rettai Vaal Kuruvi' that was broadcast on Vijay TV in 2015. The same year she also acted as the female lead in the Sun TV serial 'Pasamalar'.
During the making of 'Pasamalar' Pavani Reddy and Telugu actor Pradeep Kumar fell in love and got married on Valentines Day in 2014. In a shocking turn of event Pradeep died by suicide in May 2017 just three months after their wedding. The actress sufferred mental and physical illness after that and took a long time to recover.
Pavani became a household name after participating in 'Bigg Boss 5' hosted by Kamal Haasan in which she was adjudged the runnerup. She also met dance choreographer Amir on the show and the later paired up in 'BB Jodigal Season 2'. Rumours started doing the rounds that the couple are in love.
Pavani and Amir won the title of 'BB Jodigal 2' after which she announced that they are in fact dating and that she had accepted his proposal earlier. The actress in a recent televised show was asked what was the one thing she will wish for from her past in her present life.
Pavani replied that she would wish her late husband to come back as she lost him for no reason and wished that he is alive now. At the same time she also warned that her answer should not be taken that she is two timing Amir and her husband. The 34 year old stated that she is in a happy zone with Amir now and he is the best thing that has happened in her life. Her reply has won netizens hearts who are wowed by her frankness and the love she holds for her late hubby even now.
Pavani is currently acting as the lead in two Telugu movies 'Malli Modalaindi' and 'Family Matter'. She has also been approached to star in a new Tamil/Telugu movie that will have Amir as the male lead.
