Yesteryear Malayalam actress Parvathy Jayaram recently took to her social media handle to remember her younger sister Deepti who passed away 25 years ago. Taking to her Instagram story, Parvathy shared a throwback picture with her late sister penning alongside an emotional post. “Around two and half decades have flown by since my conscience keeper has left this world. My dear friend, I will miss you till my last breath. I hope that we could meet again in another world,” Parvathy wrote.

Parvathy, who debuted through the super hit movie Vivahithare Ithile directed by Balachandra Menon, was one of the most sought-after actresses of the 1980s and 1990s. The actress has worked with almost all superhit directors and actors and carved a niche for herself in Malayalam Cinema. Interestingly, Deepti had acted alongside Parvathy in the movie Aranyakam. During Parvathy's peak of the career, she got married to actor Jayaram. Post her wedding, the actress quit her acting career.
