Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab, who will be seen in a supporting role in Rana Daggubati's 'Viraata Parvam', was recently hospitalized at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital after she developed COVID-related complications.
Going into further details, Zarina complained of breathlessness days after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Her family members took her to the hospital, where she was given oxygen support.
A national daily report says that the senior actress didn't need ventilator support. All was well within a few days.
As for her role in 'Viraata Parvam', director Venu Udugula has kept it under wraps. Also featuring Sai Pallavi and Priyamani as naxals, the period film has Nandita Das in a key role. The social drama will likely release in 2021.
