Nivetha Thomas has been in the film industry ever since she was a child actress best remembered for her role as Vijay's younger sister in 'Kuruvi' and she reprised the mass hero's sister once again as an adult in 'Jilla'. The talented Chennai girl then has the distinction of playing daughter to both the living legends Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in 'Papanasam' and 'Darbar' respectively.

In a recent interaction the talented actress has stated that there is no hard and fast rule that everyone should fall in love or get married and when the time comes she will happily get into a relationship.

Nivetha has strongly asserted that right now she is not interested in marriage and is focussing on doing more and more films exploring different characters and also turn director in the future.

On further insistence, Nivetha shared that she does have expectations about her future husband and first and foremost he should be truthful and loyal and should not fake affection.
