Popular actress Nithya Menon shared the news about losing a dear one in the family and her fans are condoling her. The Mollywood based star has acted in several Tamils including Mani Ratnam's 'OK Kanmani' but she rose to much higher fame after starring opposite Thalapathy Vijay in 'Mersal' directed by Atlee. In recent times her stunning performance in 'Thiruchitrambalam' costarring Bharathiraja and Dhanush expanded her fan base amongst the millenials.

Nithya shared a pic of herself in loving embrace of her maternal grandmother and captioned it "End of an Era. Goodbye amamma and my cherryman. see you on the other side. Her grandfather also apparently passed away some time ago and the 35 year old has poured her heart out and fans are doing their best to cheer her up.

Nithya Menen's upcoming movies include 'Kolaambi' and 'Aaram Thirukalpana' and the webseries 'Kumari Srimathi' and 'Masterpeace'. She is also in talks for biggie in Tamil which will be announced soon.
