Cupid seems to have struck once again in Kollywood as young actress Niranjani Ahathian is all set to marry director Desingh Periyasamy. The couple obviously met during the making of their sleeper hit 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' starring Dulquer Salmaan which turned out to be the most talked-about film of 2020. Their engagement was held recently.

Niranjani Ahathian is also a busy costume designer in the film industry and made her acting debut only in her future husband's film. She is the youngest daughter of National Award Winning director Ahathian and the younger sister of actress Vijayalakshmi. Interestingly all the three daughters of Ahathian are married to directors Kani - Dir Thiru, Vijayalakshmi - Dir Feroz and now Nirajani and Desingh

Desingh Periyasamy meanwhile is one of the most promising young directors in Tamil cinema currently who is said to have narrated scripts to Superstar Rajinikanth and Sivakarthikeyan.
