Actress Nilani became famous and at the same time got into deep trouble when she released a video of herself dressed as a cop and severely criticcizing the police department during the Jallikattu agitation and she was arrested and let out on bail. Later she again was in the news when her boyfriend Gandhi committed suicide after she seperated from him and she also tried to take her life when it was alleged that she was the reason behind the death.

Nilani now has once again approached the cops with fresh allegations against her new boyfriend Manjunath who is blacmailing her with intimate videos and photos of her. In her complaint she has stated that nine months back Manjunath who was working abroad had approached her and offered to take care of her and her two children as well. A few weeks back Nilani had apparently found out that Manjunath was already married and also had children.

Nilani had then broke up with Manjunath but he refuses to let her go and had started blacmailing her with the videos and photos of her. She has also claimed that her ex boyfriend is threatening to kill her and her children and also has given her cellphone number to strangers who call and use abusive language on her. Nilani has asked for police protection and legal action against Manjunath and also to confiscate and delete the compromising photos and videos.
