It is truly saddening when life turns cruel and young people who have just started to live being snatched away without warning by death.  15-year-old actress Nikita Pearl Waligwa has passed away due to a brain tumor.

Nikita Pearl Waligwa was a Ugandan and was chosen to play the lead role in the Hollywood movie 'Queen of Katwe' about a nine-year-old girl who becomes a chess champion based on the real-life person Phiona Mutesi.  In 2016 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and since there was no facility to treat her in Uganda, Meera Nair the director of her film made arrangements for her to check-in at an Indian hospital.

Nikita had successful treatment in India and went back to her country but unfortunately, another tumor developed on her brain and this time it has claimed her life.
