Nayanthara to have another wedding before tying the knot with Vignesh Shivan?

Actress Nayanthara and her long time lover Vignesh Shivan are one of the most adorable couples in Kollywood.  They have never shied away from sharing their intimate moments with fans and always post their lates pics together on social media.  The big question on fans minds is when the couple are going to tie the knot.

Nayanthara during the promotions of her latest film ‘Netrikann’ opened up that she and Vicky got secretly engaged earlier this year.  Now according to reports they are very keen to get married within the next few months.  However the loving couple have to undergo traditional formalities before that due to astroglogical reasons.

The sources say that Nayan has the “Sevvai Dhosham” which is known as “Mangal Dosha” in Hindi.  Whenever women have this issue Hindu tradition requires them to marry a tree first and then get married to whoever they are in love and any harm that might happen to the groom will be averted.  

Earlier Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had the same dosha got married to three different trees in Ayodhya, Varanasi and Bengaluru and then went on to wed her lover Abhishek Bachchan.

The same sources add that though Nayanthara whose real name is Diana Kurien is a Christian she converted to Hinduism and is now a staunch believer in the traditions.  Hence it is said that the Lady Superstar will get married to a tree very soon and an auspicious date has already been fixed for her wedding with Vignesh Shivan.

Another source even goes to the extent of suggesting that the Nayan-Vicky marriage will be held at the Tirupathi Thirumala and later a grand reception in Chennai.  Knowing the power couple if there is substance to this report they will soon announce it themselves and go ahead with their big day.

For now Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are concentrating on their film careers working together in ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha and producing films like ‘Oorkuruvi’ starring Kavin and Kaviya Arivumani.
