The big day in the lives of the long time love birds Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan is arriving soon and the latter today met the press to make it official. Vicky in a press meet shared that (as reported earlier by us) that his wedding will be held in a star hotel in Mahabalipuram. He also revealed that the venue was shifted from Tirupati due to logistical challenges.

The 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' maker said that he and Nayan have decided on a very simple wedding and only close friends and family are invited. He finished off by thanking the media for the support in him becoming a successful director and producer.

Meanwhile our sources have informed us that a glass set with the bay of bengal at the backdrop has been erected in which Vicky will tie the traditional thaali to Nayan. The rooms in the hotel have been booked for three days indicating that the mehendi ceremony and reception will happen on the evenings of 7th and 8th respectively.

As reported by us earlier Gautham Menon will produce the wedding event as a film that will stream exclusively on Netflix. It is said that thirty celebrities from Kollywood including Rajini, Vijay, Ajith, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi are likely to attend.
