Nayanthara debuted in Tamil in the Sarathkumar starrer 'Ayya' in 2005 and her very next film she acted as Superstar Rajinikanth's pair 'Chandramukhi' and the rest as they say is history. Today the ever beautiful Nayan is celebrated as the Lady Superstar and is one of the few actresses who has a the charm to lure audiences to theaters in female-centric films.

Though Nayanthara started her career as a television anchor and has also done ad films for the past several years she has stayed away from them. Now during the lockdown the stunning actress has acted in a new ad film for the Ujala brand.

The film shows Nayan dressed in captivating black and her towering personality reflects from a mirror too providing double delight for her fans. On the movie front she is set to star in her beau Vignesh Shivan's 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' costarring Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi. She is playing the title role in 'Mookuthi Amman' directed by RJ Balaji and is also one of the female leads in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva.
