Lady Superstar Nayanthara after conquering the South also made a huge impact in an action packed role in her Hindi debut movie 'Jawan' directed by Atlee. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone has grossed over rupees one thousand and one crores.

Now it has been reported in Bollywood media that Nayanthara has been approached to play a prominent role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period film 'Baiju Bawra'. The musical periodic drama set in 1950s stars the hot pair Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

Sources say that couple of meetings were held between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Nayanthara in Mumbai and the actress is yet to sign the film. 'Baiju Bawra' is already in shooting mode and hits the screens early next year.

Nayanthara's upcoming films include 'Lady Superstar 75', 'Manaangatti' and 'The Test' directed by Sashikanth and costarring R. Madhavan and Siddharth. Sources say that the performances of Maddy and Nayan will be the major highlight of the cricket based film.
