Lady Superstar Nayanthara has played the female lead in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva which is said to have grossed more than 200 Crores at the worldwide box office. Her fans got to celebrate her first look as Kanmani in her fiance Vignesh Shivan's new movie 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha.
The hot buzz in Kollywood is that Nayanthara has opted out of one of her upcoming movies produced by S.R. Prabhu under his banner Dream Warrior Pictures. The film is directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan of Vadivelu's 'Eli' fame and had Vidharth and Sri as the male leads.
It is said that Nayanthara had to reshuffle and allot dates for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Lion' directed by Atlee which got delayed due to SRK's son Aryan Khan's arrest in the drugs case. Hence she could not accomodate this untitled film and has now been replaced by Shraddha Srinath who has acted opposite Madhavan in 'Vikram Vedha' and 'Maara'. Nayan however has signed one more movie with the same production house which will go on floors in early 2022.
