It has been reported that a new actress with just one blockbuster pan Indian film under her belt is commanding higher remuneration that top actresses Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rashmika Mandanna. The actress in question is none other than Mrunal Thakur who played the lead role opposite Dulquer Salmaan in 'Seetha Ramam' that also had Rashmika in an important character.

Mrunal played dual roles of Sita Mahalakshmi and Princess Noor Jahan in the love story based on the Ramayan. Her performance was so well liked by critics and audiences that her market has soared for both Bollywood and South Indian films.

Tollywood reports suggest that Mrunal Thakur has been signed to play the lead opposite Nani in his 30th film. She apparently agreed to the role for a remuneration of a staggering rupees six crores which is the triple amount of what she received for 'Sita Ramam', her first South film. The news has not only shocked the Telugu industry but also the leading heroines there.

According to trade circles Samantha and Rashmika Mandanna the two top heroines of Tollywood recieve around rupees 5 Crores. Mrunal recieving a cool crore more than them for 'Nani 30' has the industry talking. Lady Superstar Nayanthara reportedly gets anywhere between rupees five to ten crores depending on whether she is the normal heroine in a hero driven movie or heading the cast in a female centric project.
