It was recently actress Miya George's father George Joseph (75) passed away due to age-related ailments. Days after the untimely demise of her dear dad, Miya took to her social media handle to pen an emotional note. Sharing a picture with her dad and mom, Miya quoted a line from Bible. She wrote, “John 16:22 “Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you". She further added, "Yes Papa..No one will take ur love & memories out of our heart. we are broke & it's irreparable. The love u gave us throughout these yrs will be the driving force from now on..Miss u Papa. Thank u, everyone, for ur prayers ” (sic.)

Miya George tied the knot with Ashwin Philip last year. The couple welcomed a baby boy in July this year and is currently on a maternity break. On the work front, she is awaiting the release of Cobra, an ambitious Kollywood film starring Vikram in the lead role.
