Actress Meghana Raj the daughter of popular yesteryear actress Pramila Joshai is a big name in Kannada and Malayalam cinema. She is also familiar to Tamil audiences after her fine performances in 'Kadhal Solla Vandhen' and other films.

On the personal front Meghana got married to the late actor Chiranjeevi Sarja in 2018 after ten years of dating. She got pregnant in early 2020 but tragically her husband passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest on 7th June that year. Her son Raayan Raj Sarja was born on October 22nd the same year four months after his father's death.

Meghana has been busy bringing up her son and often shares about him and her late hubby on social media. A few months back a rumour started floating that she is to remarry a 'Bigg Boss Kannada' contestant which both the sides denied vehemently.

In a recent interview the talented actress was posed the question to which she replied “There is a group of people who advise me to get married. There is also a group of people who say you should be happy with your son. So who should I listen to?”.

The 32 year old actress added “Chiranjeevi always said that no matter what the world says, listen to your heart. I haven’t asked myself that question about marriage yet. One thing Chiru left behind was the way a person should live. So I don’t think about what will happen tomorrow. Or never think what my life will be like after a couple of days”

Meghana Raj currently has completed shooting for two film 'Buddhivanta 2' and is also serving as a judge for the dance reality show 'Dancing Champion' on Colours Kannada.
