Dhanush-Simbu heroine becomes Santhanam's pair in new movie

Santhanam has had mixed fortunes at the box office ever since he became a full time hero in 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' released in 2013. However producers and filmmakers are still making a beeline to sign him and a new project is announced almost every other month.
The latest movie featuring Santhanam that has gone on floors last week is 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy' produced by People Media Factory. The film is directed by Karthi Yogi who made his debut with the super hit film 'Dikkiloona' also starring Santhanam. Sean Roldan is scoing the music.
The latest update is that Megha Akash has joined 'Vadakkupatti Ramasamy' as the female lead. The young actress who made her acting debut in Tamil in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' is famous for starring opposite Dhanush in 'Enai Noki Paayum Thotta' and Simbu in 'Vantha Rajavaathan Varuven'. Her upcoming movies in Tamil include Vijay Antony's 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' directed by Vijay Milton.
