The entertainment industry reeling under the coronavirus lockdown has lost many talents in the past few weeks including actor Manmeet Grewal who committed suicide due to depression and actress Preksha Mehta too took her life due to the uncertainty. Now the Kannada film and television industry has received another shock as 22 year old actress Mebiena Michael died in a car crash.

It is said that Mebiena Michael was travelling by car from Bengaluru to her hometown Madikeri with friends when their vehicle unexpectedly crashed into an oncoming tractor near Devihalli. All those in the car were rushed to a nearby hospital but Mebiena succumbed to her injuries while her friends are still undergoing treatment.

Mebiena Michael was into modelling for a few years before venturing into television through the reality show Pyaate Hudugir Halli Life Season 4 which had the theme of city-bred girls surviving in villages and Mebiena won the title. She was in talks to star in a few serials as well as movies but her life has been cut short by the unfortunate accident.
