Actress forcefully held in a Nagercoil lodge

Actress Manju Saverkar was forcefully held in a lodge and not allowed to leave as she complained about the staff not even changing the bedsheets in her room and the unclean atmosphere. She was shooting for a Malayalam film and the entire cast and crew were staying in the lodge near Chettikulam junction in Nagercoil.

When Manju after crying and creating a ruckus tried to leave the lodge the staff held her and said that she could leave only after the producer settles outstanding dues of sixty thousand rupees. Police officials were called in and a compromise was made after the producer made arrangements for the payments.
