Malavika Mohanan has caught the imagination of Tamil audiences more than any other young heroine by her choice of films which has catapulted her into the big league pretty soon. Her first film was Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which she shined as a village girl who grows into middle age.

Malavika is currently awaiting the release of her next biggie 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in which she is paired opposite Thalapathy Vijay and also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah among others.

Malavika keeps her fan happy and updated by posting her brilliantly shot pics and also words of wisdom. Her latest is a pose wearing a towel captioned “We slipped briskly into an intimacy from which we never recovered”.

Malavika is said to be in talk to star in a new movie starring Dhanush directed by Karthik Naren and produced by Sathyajyothi Films.
