Actress Malavika had a dream debut opposite Thala Ajith in 'Unnai Thedi' in 1999 directed by Sundar C and after that, she featured in many hit movies including 'Ananda Poongatrey', 'Roja Vanam', 'Vettri Kodi Kattu', 'Perazhagan', ''Vasool Raja MBBS' and 'Chandramukhi'.

Even when she appeared in just one song "Vala Meenukku" in Mysskin's first film 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' she won hearts with her graceful moves and beauty. Malavika married Bengaluru-based businessman Sumesh Menon in 2007 and has two children.

Malavika is now pretty active on social media and has been posting her pictures and updating her fans on what's going on with her. In a recent interview, the pretty actress has opened up about her days in Kollywood.

Malavika has revealed that she got the opportunity to dance for the song ' Dandaana Darna' in Kuruvi with Vijay but she was two months pregnant and shared the news to the dance master. The understanding choreographer apparently gave her simple steps and she managed the song. But she also stressed that she was disappointed she could dance full-fledged with Vijay considering it was her last film and she wanted to finish on a high note.

Malavika also revealed that her dream come true moment was when she was cast in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Chandramukhi' and said she was floored by his simplicity.
