Actress Madhavi who started her career as an actress in the Telugu film 'Thoorpu Padamara' in 1976 had a steady career in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films. She finished her career with 300 films most of which had her as the main female lead.
In Tamil she got her major break in K. Balachander's 'Enga Ooru Kannagi' and her very next was as Sivaji Ganesan's love interest in the hit movie 'Amara Kaviyam'. Her most famous films were 'Thillu Mullu' and 'Raja Paarvai', 'Sattam' and 'Kaaki Sattai' with Kamal Haasan.
Madhavi through the guidance of her spiritual guru got married to US based businessman Ralph Sharma in 1996. The couple has three daughters and the family live in New Jersey. Madhavi shared the good news about her daughter Priscila reaching a major milestone in her schooling.
