Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, one of the leading character actresses of the Tamil film industry has also directed meaningful films such as 'Arohanam', 'Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe', 'Ammani' and 'House Owner'. It is worth noting that Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is currently directing an untitled film starring Samuthirakani, Abhirami and Mysskin which has music by Ilayaraja.

On the personal side the 'Solvathellam Unmai' host is married to Ramakrishnan and has two daughters. Shreya, one of her daughters has been afflicted by a debilitating ailment. On the festive occasion of Onam Lakshmy shared photos of Shreeya and wrote an emotional post.

Lakshmy wrote on FB " 'Hello to all my friends who are celebrating Onam. A special celebration took place at our house as well. There was a crisis in our house as our child was sick for the last 6 months. But now daughter Shreeya is doing well by the grace of God and the efforts of 20 doctors. Although she is not fully recovered, we are happy that she is doing better now."

Fans of the multitalented actress posted positive vibes on her timeline and also wished a speedy recovery for Shreya.
