Lakshmi Menon who has predominantly acted in super hit Tamil films such as 'Kumki', 'Sundarapandian', 'Jigarthanda', 'Manja Pai' and 'Miruthan' last appeared in 'Rekka' co-starring Vijay Sethupathi in the year 2016.

The pretty actress who was a teenager at the time took a break from cinema to concentrate on her studies and after five years made her comeback with 'Pulikuthi Pandi' directed by Muthiah. The film produced by Sun Pictures had Lakshmi romancing her debut movie hero Vikram Prabhu and was released directly on Sun TV garnering good TRP ratings.

Lakshmi who visits her social media pages from time to time in the space of two weeks posted a couple of pics that show her in a sleepy mood. She seems to have applied a liberal dab of powder on her face and her followers have trolled her for the same.

One user compared Lakshmi to legendary actress Saroja Devi who was shown wearing heavy makeup in comedy scenes with Vadivelu in Suriya's 'Aadhavan' while another asked her whether she will sleep only after wearing makeup.

Lakshmi Menon is expected to next star in a new movie opposite Gautham Karthik to be directed by Muthaiah with whom it will be her fifth film.
