Lakshmi Menon got into the film industry in her teens and tasted instant success in Kollywood bagging two Filmfare Awards for her first two Tamil films 'Sundarapandian' and 'Kumki'.

Lakshmi later appeared in a string of hits including 'Kutti Puli', 'Pandianaadu', 'Manjappai', 'Jigirthanda', 'Komban', 'Vedalam', 'Miruthan' and 'Rekka'. In 2017 she took a break from acting to enjoy her college life and has finished her graduation.
