Lakshmi Menon got into the film industry in her teens and tasted instant success in Kollywood bagging two Filmfare Awards for her first two Tamil films 'Sundarapandian' and 'Kumki'.

Lakshmi later appeared in a string of hits including 'Kutti Puli', 'Pandianaadu', 'Manjappai', 'Jigirthanda', 'Komban', 'Vedalam', 'Miruthan' and 'Rekka'. In 2017 she took a break from acting to enjoy her college life and has finished her graduation.

In the meantime, the talented actress has been quite active on social media posting pics and videos mostly of her classiccal dancing. The latest photos that Lakshmi has posted on Insta shows her in a much slimmed-down look and is stunning in all her adorable posts.

There were rumours that Lakshmi was planning to get married a few months ago but she put a full stop to that by signing a new film with Gautham Karthik in the lead role which is in preproduction.
