The Korean film industry and fans have been deeply shocked by the news of the sudden passing away of actress Kim Mi-soo on January 5th at the age of 29. She is popular for playing the role of Deacon Young-In in the Netflix series 'Hellbound'. The cause of death has not been revealed by her bereaved family.

Kim Mi-soo is also playing the major role of student activist Yeo Jungmin in the series 'Snowdrop' that premiered on Disney Plus only a few weeks back. Her funeral was held in private on January 7th.

The actress's agency has released a statement ""We're having to share an extremely heartbreaking and sad news. Actor Kim Mi-soo has suddenly left us on January 5. The bereaved are currently extremely heartbroken at this sudden grievous news. We sincerely ask to refrain from sharing rumors or speculative reports, so the shocked and saddened family can reverently commemorate the late actor.
The funeral will be held in private in accordance with the family's will.
We hope you would pray for the late actor to rest in peace, and once again, we send our deepest condolences to late Kim's last journey."
