Actress Khushbu had a dream debut in Tamil cinema playing one of the females leads in 'Dharmathin Thalaivan' (1988) directed by S.P. Muthuraman and starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Suhasini and V.K. Ramaswamy. The rest as they say is history as within a few years after that she zoomed to the top and reigned as the most sought-after heroines in South Indian cinema for the next decade or so.

Khushbu fell in love with director Sundar C during the making of their film 'Muraimaaman' and after a few years of dating, they tied the knot in 2000. The couple has two daughters Avantika Sundar and Anandita Sundar.

Anandita Sundar has just finished college and her proud mother has shared photos of her graduation. No thanks to the COVID 19 pandemic the convocation was held online but the young star kid earnestly wore her hat and posed in tune with her mother's caption "My Bommai Kutti.."

Khushbu's upcoming movie in Tamil is Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthati Siva and produced by Sun Pictures which is set to release on Diwali 2021.
