Best Actress National Award winner Keerthy Suresh has been in the news for the past week or so after she posted a photo wishing her close friend Farhan Bin Liaquath for his birthday. Since the duo were dressed similarly netizens started speculating that Farhan is the mystery man in Keerthy's life and that she is all set to wed him.

Keerthy in her own style posted a reply " Hahahaha !! Did not have to pull my dear friend this time! I will reveal the actual mystery man whenever I have to. Take a chill pill until then! PS: Not once got it right.". Now her father Suresh who is a top producer of Malayalam films has released a video statement on the same.

"There were reports on social media and a few media outlets that Keerthy is getting married to Dubai based businessman Farhan Bin Liaquath but the truth is the two have been friends for a long time but are not in a romantic relationship" stated Suresh. The doting dad also added that he will officially inform when his daughter is ready to get married and urged the media not to believe in any baseless rumours.

Keerthy's next release is going to be the much anticipated 'Maamannan' directed by Mari Selvaraj in which her costars are Fahadh Faasil, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Vadivelu. She is also playing the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi in 'Siren' and the female centric comedies 'Raghu Thatha' and 'Revolver Rita'.
