A massive fire broke out at actress Kavya Madhavan’s boutique named Lakshyah in Kochi on Wednesday morning. It is reported that the fire broke out from an embroidery machine and an iron box which were not switched off the day before the incident. The fire damaged a few machines and clothes in the shop. “The fire in the shop on the third floor of the mall had triggered the alarm system which alerted the watchman, who then called for the fire brigade. After an hour of firefighting, the fire was doused. But the entire shop is blackened with ashes”, said the Police.

Kavya Madhavan, wife of actor Dileep, launched Lakshyah in 2015 partnered by her brother, a fashion designer. It may be noted that in 2017, the office was raided in connection with the Actress Assault Case against actor Dileep. It was because the prime accused in the case Pulsar Suni in a letter claimed he headed straight to Kavya’s Lakshyah boutique after committing the crime – molestation of a popular actress and recording visuals of it on a moving car. As the fire accident has occurred at a time when actor Dileep is in the dock for allegedly erasing and tampering content from his mobile phones with the assistance of experts in Mumbai, the Police investigation is in full swing.
