The shocking attempt by an actress to commit suicide by consuming excessive alcohol mixed with sleeping tablets has shocked the film and television industry. The actress is Katta Mythili known for her appearances on the Telugu television industry.

It is said that the Panjagutta police station recieved information about the actress and rushed to her home in the area by tracing her phone signal from her network carrier. They found Mythili unconcious and also evidence that she consumed 8 bottles of an alcohol drink called breezers mixed with sleeping tablets. She was shifted to a nearby hospital and is being treated while a case has been registered.

Six months ago, on September 27, 2021, Mythili had lodged a harassment complaint against her husband Sridhar Reddy and 4 others at the Panjagutta police station Preliminary investigation in this case has been completed. Similarly, Katta Mythili has lodged a complaint against her husband and his family at the Moti police station in Suriyapet district. A chargesheet has also been filed in the case.

The police are probing whether the suicide attempt of the actress is connected to her husband and his family or if there is any other reason for her taking the extreme step.
