Here is why ‘Titanic’ actress Kate Winslet cried when reuniting with Leonardo DiCaprio recently

Leorardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet met on the sets of their 1997 global hit movie and cult classic ‘Titanic’ when they were 22 and 21 respectively.  They played the roles of the starcrossed lovers Jack and Rose who are even now one of the most famous screen lovers ever.

Kate and Leo have maintained their close friendship for the past twenty four years and have done steamy romantic scenes in the James Cameron directed film and later in ‘Revolutionary Road’.  However it may shock fans that they have never been involved romantically and Kate had even said in interviews that Leo is like a brother to her.

Staying true to that bonding Leonardo Di Caprio walked the pretty actress down the aisle during one of her weddings.  Now after a long gap the duo met in Los Angeles and Kate could not stop crying as she became super emotional.

The Oscar winning actress later stated she cried because the coronavirus pandemic forced them to stay apart for close to two years and when finally they met that was how it went.  While the handsome star’s recent movie ‘Dont Look Up’ directed by Adam Mackay and costarring Jennifer Lawrence is streaming on Netflix to positive reviews.

Kate Winslet’s next big release is in late 2022 when ‘Avatar 2’ directed by her ‘Titanic’ helmer James Cameron hits the screens.   She is playing the charcter of Ronal in the much awaited sequel.
