Former Tamil Nadu chief minister the late Jayalalitha close friend V.K. Sasikala finished her four years jail term in the disproportionate wealth case. She was affected by COVID 19 just before her release from jail and got treated in Bengaluru and today after recovering she travelled back to Chennai with much fanfare all along the way on the three hundred and fifty odd kilometer journey.

The Chief Minister EPS and his deputy OPS of the ADMK who once were loyalists of Sasikala have now distanced themselves from her and have taken various measures to prevent her reentry into the party.

Meanwhile popular actress and activist Kasthuri has taken to Twitter to make an observation about Sasikala's entry into Chennai. She has written sarcastically in Tamil "They have closed the memorial, the office,cancelled election propaganda meetings, shutdown roads and have even disrupted television services. They (ruling party) are doing all that should be done to curb the coronavirus to Sasikala".

Kasthuri has added "It would be nice if the Chinnamma turns her car towards TASMAC and it would be a blessing to her". We will have to wait and see how the ministers and spokespersons of the party react to this dig.
