உலக நாயகன் கமல்ஹாசன் தமிழின் மீது அளவில்லா காதல் கொண்டவர் என்பதும் அவருடைய பேச்சும், எழுத்தும் சுத்த தமிழில் இருக்கும் என்பதும் அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே. இந்த நிலையில் நேற்று 'முடிவெடுத்தால் யாம் முதல்வர்' என்ற ஒரு கவிதையை தனது டுவிட்டரில் கமல் பதிவு செய்துள்ளார்.
பொதுவாக கமல்ஹாசன் சாதாரணமாக தமிழில் டுவீட் செய்தாலே பலருக்கு புரியாது. கவிதை வடிவில் இந்த டுவீட் இருப்பதால் பலருடைய சிந்தனன குதிரையை இந்த கவிதை தட்டிவிட்டுள்ளது. இந்த நிலையில் தமிழ் புரியாத நபர்களுக்காக இந்த கவிதையை நடிகை கஸ்தூரி ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழி பெயர்த்து அதை தனது சமூக வலைத்தளத்தில் பதிவு செய்துள்ளார்.

இடித்துரைப்போம் யாருமினி மன்னரில்லை
துடித்தெழுவோம் மனதளவில்
உம்போல் யாம் மன்னரில்லை
தோற்றிறந்தால் போராளி
முடிவெடுத்தால் யாம் முதல்வர்
அடிபணிவோர் அடிமையரோ?
முடிதுறந்தோர் தோற்றவரோ?
போடா மூடா எனலாம் அது தவறு
தேடாப் பாதைகள் தென்படா
வாடா தோழா என்னுடன்
மூடமை தவிர்க்க முன்னவரே தலைவர்
I will speak up, no one is king
I have made up my mind to rebel.
Defeat will bring martyrdom, and
Decision will make me chief minister
Those who obey are not slaves.
Those who refuse the crown are not losers.
You may call me a fool- thats so wrong
Seek and you shall see the way.
Come, Comerade, join me in dispelling idiocy.
The one who strives will be the one to lead.
