After Jayalalitha, Kangana Ranaut to play one more Iron Lady of Indian politics in new biopic

Kangana Ranaut is in the news constantly in her capacity as an actress as well as for her political stands. Currently, she has transformed into former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha for 'Thalaivi' which is one of the pan Indian biggies that are hitting the screens this year.

News has now come out that Kangana has signed another biopic to play the late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi known as the Iron Lady of India. The intense actress has stated Yes, we are working on the project, and the script is in the final stages. It is not the biopic of Indira Gandhi. It is a grand period film. To be precise, it is a political drama that will help my generation to understand (the) socio-political landscape of current India,” .

Kangana has also added, I am looking forward to playing Indira Gandhi the most iconic leader that we have had in the history of Indian politics many prominent actors will be part of this film. Sai Kabir is helming the project and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
