Kajal has signed a new movie titled 'Rowdy Baby' to be directed by debutante Raju Saravanan and produced by Ramesh P Pillai under the banner Abhisekh Films. The film has music by Sam CS, lyrics by Vairamuthu, cinematography by Chelladurai and editing by Deepak Dwarakanath.

Kajal, who has primarily played glamorous roles in her career, is reportedly poised to go de-glam for her character in 'Rowdy Baby', a story about a mother and daughter relationship. The 'Thuppakki' actress will also be playing the mother of a small girl for the first time in her career spanning seventeen years. The official announcement of the project and its details are awaited.

Kajal Agarwal, who recently acted in the horror web series 'Live Telecast,' has a few of huge projects in the works, including Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2', Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya,' and the horror-comedy 'Ghostly' with Yogi Babu.
